Masks.....they are a way of expressing ones expressions rather than suppressing it.....the emotions that we cannot portray through our mortal face of flesh and bones....they have a fixed emotion painted and curved out on their face...but that very emotion seems so powerful that it overwhelms every other emotions....and actually it seems like that singular emotion when coupled up with the words of the person behind the mask. For example, if a mask has a smiling face but still it is required to blend into a panorama of tragedy...or perhaps a scene of great satire...the smiling mask will blend into that very situation as if its smile was designed solely to fit that situation....when the character behind the mask needs to be grimacing in pain....the smiling mask will look at pains end....its smile will reflect the vague smile of helplessness against such great pain and sorrow...when the character needs to be angry...the mask’s smile turns into a sinister smile...

We all wear masks.. we may accept it or not.. is upto us.. but this is indisputable fact...

The sad part is that these masks are created when we lie to ourself.. dont you think?

When we hide from society behind a mask in effect we hide from our true self... we lie... not to anyone else... but to ourself...

demasking oneself is the first step of accepting oneself.. wart and all... the fact that we need a mask shows that we have something to hide.. some guilt and some shame..

Is it not that guilt that made man to wear clothes? else the glory of nakedness needs no shelter
